Royal Ascot runs from Tuesday 15 to Saturday 19 June 2027, five days of racing attended by the Royal Family. Thursday 17 June is Gold Cup Day, also known as Ladies’ Day.

Ascot has the strictest dress code of the racing year. In the Royal Enclosure, gentlemen must wear black or grey morning dress with a waistcoat and tie, a black or grey top hat and black shoes. In the Queen Anne Enclosure, a suit with a tie is required. Ladies wear formal daywear with a hat, and dresses and skirts should be of modest length.
