The RHS Chelsea Flower Show takes place at the Royal Hospital Chelsea from 18 to 22 May 2027. The first two days are for RHS members, and the show opens to the public from Thursday 20 May.

There is no dress code, but Chelsea is a smart day out and a chance to wear spring tailoring. A linen or cotton jacket, a light suit in stone, sand or pale blue, or a navy blazer with cream trousers all look right among the gardens. Ladies favour floral prints, light tailored jackets and comfortable shoes, as there is a lot of walking.
